Demonstrative adjectives are words that accompany a noun to designate it precisely or to situate it in context.

  1. Demonstrative adjectives are used to designate a specific element in the context.

Exceptions!

  1. "Ce" is used before a consonant or an aspirated 'h' whereas "cet" is used before a vowel or a silent 'h'. Examples: "ce copain", "cet ami".
